Srimex Oil and Gas purchase exclusively from Eco Fuel Trading SA. Once product is imported into Liberia it is stored at the Liberian Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) storage facility in Monrovia. The product is stored under a CMA Agreement overseen by ACE Global and it is sold in the following way:
- ITT Sales to Local Entities. Customers pay through bank 100% cash value of the product to be purchased. Once funds have been received Srimex Oil and Gas then Eco Fuel, Eco Fuel release the fuel to Srimex Oil and Gas finally Srimex Oil and Gas then release the fuel to customer.
- DAP Sales to the Liberian Electricity Company (LEC). LEC issue a Purchase Order to Srimex Oil and Gas. Srimex then pay Eco Fuel and then fuel is delivered ITT to Srimex. LEC have a credit facility with GT Bank, Monrovia and the fuel is delivered by Srimex Oil and Gas transport assets under DAP Monrovia terms. Irrevocable payment instruction is issued by LEC to GT Bank.
- CIF Sales of Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO). Srimex Oil and Gas also sell HFO to China Union under CIF Monrovia terms. The fuel is imported and discharged into end user’s shore tanks in Monrovia. Srimex Oil and Gas are paid by China Union with a confirmed first demand bank guarantee.

In 2005 Srimex was granted a license to import petroleum products into Liberia and this license extends to the distribution, commercial retail, bunkering as well as oil exploration. The petroleum import business soon eclipsed other activities and in 2011 Srimex Oil and Gas was formed to focus solely on the import and distribution of this product.
